Large assorted haps are cheap (for a 4 inch colored up african male) and very nice!
ALERT TO ANY STORES IN CONNETICUT!!!!
Your legislators are trying to pass a bill that is a COMPLETE BAN ON ALL EXOTIC ANIMAL SALES!  This includes all fish, reptiles, birds, small mammals, everything.  Joe was a lot better about this legal stuff than I am, but I saw this online and figured I would bring it to your attention.  If you're in Connecticut, you need to be absolutely raising hell about this to anyone in the government that will hear it.  it's more important than working your store even, because you won't have a store if this passes.....unless you think you can pay the bills selling dog food and cat toys.
    Hey folks,

Not a ton to report for new fish this monday, but we did get more large mixed hap cichlids since we basically sold out completely last week.  Lot of nice big fish for a reasonable price in that mix, and all with color.

Florida Flagfish got restocked over the weekend and are the biggest I've ever seen.

    **FROM THE FRIDAY EMAIL**
Got a really nice shipment from Asia this week with some new goodies we've been needing badly for a few months now so don't sleep on an order this week!   We got both Red and Blue parrotfish, borneo suckers, zebra loaches, archers, and some really nice smalelr sized Pearl Flowerhorns,

Colombia also had some really nice fish for us like a fresh batch of pikes, XL green phantoms, and farlowellas.  Restocked on some of the biggest Colombian Zebra plecos I've ever seen too, along with above average Snowball plecos, so the wild pleco section of the list is a lot plumper than it's been in the last few weeks.

Local Florida farmers got us some really nice green terrors at the medium size which i personally think is the best size to be buying them.  The price gets a lot steeper really quickly once they get above medium, so the mediums get you 90% of the color and still a decent sized fish for a much much lower price.

lastly, I noticed on the news that there's ANOTHER winter storm supposed to be moving through the eastern states and the midwest towards the second half of next week, so that means it's very likely we won't be able to ship UPS orders out on Wednesday or Thursday.  We will update everyone Monday with the next email when it's closer to time and the forecast should be more accurate.  But it's looking right now like it would be in EVERYONE's best interest to order as early as possible.  If you can send your order in Monday for Tuesday pack and Wednesday arrival, you might be able to slip under the storm.

Medium assorted Florida bred peacocks.  Have some really neat looking ones like this in the mix!  Plus lots of nice blues and red shoulders like the photo
    Assorted medium male FL peacock

Flag Fish are absolutely HUGE this week!  The biggest and most colorful ones I've ever seen in my entire life.
Medium Emerald Rainbows are looking a little different than normal.  Showing a lot of red in the belly!
Green swordtails are gigantic.  Assorted is probably still your best choice if you want to just get a single type of sword, but these are huge.
Colombian zebra pleco are running really big this week.  I think the collectors send us two different species, and flip flop between collection points and what they're calling a colombian zebra.  Get the big ones this week while they're still here!
    Reptile & Amphibian Highlights
Reptile list had no changes, which means kind of sad that there's nothing new and exciting, but I'm glad to report that also means that the leopard geckos and bearded dragons are by some miracle still in stock for a second week (so far, as of Monday).  Get them quick if you've been thinking about it, they're going to be out of stock for several months once these are gone, I'm sure.

bearded dragons are finally in stock!  If you've been waiting now's your chance!
