Hey Everyone,
Got a really nice shipment from Asia this week with some new goodies we've been needing badly for a few months now so don't sleep on an order this week! We got both Red and Blue parrotfish, borneo suckers, zebra loaches, archers, and some really nice smalelr sized Pearl Flowerhorns,
Colombia also had some really nice fish for us like a fresh batch of pikes, XL green phantoms, and farlowellas. Restocked on some of the biggest Colombian Zebra plecos I've ever seen too, along with above average Snowball plecos, so the wild pleco section of the list is a lot plumper than it's been in the last few weeks.
Local Florida farmers got us some really nice green terrors at the medium size which i personally think is the best size to be buying them. The price gets a lot steeper really quickly once they get above medium, so the mediums get you 90% of the color and still a decent sized fish for a much much lower price.
lastly, I noticed on the news that there's ANOTHER winter storm supposed to be moving through the eastern states and the midwest towards the second half of next week, so that means it's very likely we won't be able to ship UPS orders out on Wednesday or Thursday. We will update everyone Monday with the next email when it's closer to time and the forecast should be more accurate. But it's looking right now like it would be in EVERYONE's best interest to order as early as possible. If you can send your order in Monday for Tuesday pack and Wednesday arrival, you might be able to slip under the storm.
Check out the pictures and writeups about the specifics below and give your rep a call if you have any questions

Got a new batch of Red Atabapo Pikes in this past week, and they're just as nice as the last batch. Super, super nice. |
Normal Pike cichlids are back in stock and used to be super popular. You get a great sized, interesting looking cichlid for a very reasonable price with these. Not quite as murderous as their larger cousins. |
It's been really tough to get Blue Rams for the last few months, and importing them from Asia alone isn't cutting it so we brought in a batch of Wild rams from Colombia! These will probably be a little touchier than the tank raised ones are, but they're also much better price. |
Habrosus cory ran out this week, like we expected, but more just came in last night and should be good to go on Monday. They're probably sell out again, so if you wanted to get a bunch of these, have your order pack Monday or Tuesday. |
Blue phantoms are still coming in really decent size! I think the stock list says "small" but they're nowhere near as small as they were last time we had them. |
Farlowellas restocked this week and size is great. These are also fantastic algae-eaters, way, WAY better than common plecos. Just sell these instead. |
Butterfly Pleco are about 3 inches, so maybe slightly smaller than usual, but the color is still very good and the fins are absolutely perfect. |
Clown plecos came back in as well. These are a chain store item, so they do almost always sell out, so order early. |
XL Green Phantoms are absolutely perfect! This new batch has great fins, and is about 6 inches. They don't get too much bigger than this. |
Normal Rosy Barbs are the best looking barb here this week! It's been a long long time since I've said that. The size is well above average, and the males are in full color. They're mixed sex, but even the females don't look bad. |
Red Panda Barbs came in larger than normal and already showing color! These are a much more peaceful barb species, not at all nippy like Tigers. They make a perfect community fish for a decently sized tank. |
Neon Gold Rosy barbs are fantastic! Some of the best looking fish on the farm right now and should be on every order. |
Veiltail cherry barbs are coming in nicer than I've seen in a long time. Fully grown fish, and majority males. |
Longfin Zebra Danios and the Pearls below are both running super nice. By far the best danios of the limited options available. |
Pearl Danio |
Blue Kerri tetra are still looking really nice. They're a little pricier than most other tetras, but they're MUCH nicer looking than most other tetras. |
Blind Caves are still really big. You don't need 50 of them in stock, but I think having 6 is a great idea for a conversation starter. |
Gold Pristella are running very nice. They've been limited lately, but when they're available you should definitely be trying to get them. |
Medium sized silver dollars are the only one left right now, but these were always the better value. I think they were only about 10% more than the regular size, and probably close to an inch larger. |
Pigeonblood guppy are a nice pink body color, fairly unique among guppy strains. |
Assorted Endlers made it through the week and have more coming Sunday. These make a great option if Guppies dont hold up well in your store. |
Mixed swordtails are back in stock and have lots of nice colored fish in the mix not just a bunch of ugly Green swords. Plenty of painteds, velvets, pineapples, etc. |
If you want a solid colored sword, the Neons are the best option. Color is pretty good and they're stable. |
Firecracker Swords are worth the price. This might be one of the best looking batches I've seen come through, and they've been here for a couple weeks so they are exceeding expectations in the health department! Just FYI, I would always hit these things with an antibacterial medication the minute they show up,and salt them heavily. |
Creamsicle LT Mollies are always a popular molly choice and I don't think we show pics of them very often, so here you go. They do have a very unique look, with the white and orange mixture. |
Gold dust lyretail molly are the best looking molly. I love the gold black combo. |
Sunset Variatus came in very different than usual this week so we had to show these off. They're great size too so definitely worth getting. But I thought it was very interesting how there are two very different looking types of fish in the batch. Like two totally different strains. |
Got some more assorted peacock males in to add to the mix and get a little more variety for you. Have a few that look like probably "Maulana 500 Bicolors" or a hybrid of them with the yellow shoulder. |
Large assorted hap are new this week and a great price! We have large assorted MALE hap as well, which we've been showing pics of the past 2 weeks and are from different breeders with totally different types of fish in them. |
Another fish in the large assorted hap for reference. |
Ngara flametail peacocks are one of the most popular strains and always sell well even at this regular size. For what it's worth though, these are some big regulars, with males almost showing color already. Once they get full color they double in price, so get them this week. |
OB Borleyi Redfins are new and super exciting. They're mixed sex and about 2.5 inches. Color is awesome, and this is a great opportunity to get a nice valuable fish for a much lower price if you have some patience to grow them. |
Normal run of the mill blue soco cichlids are looking great. |
Bumblebee Cichlids (ornatus) are also looking great |
Medium Green Terror are back and always super popular. Size and color is perfect for the price on these. |
We sold out of these but we are supposed to get more of these 4 inch Cuban cichlids over the weekend. They were very popular, and justifiably so! One of the best looking CA Cichlids. |
Blood Parrots are back and size is pretty average but color is nice and bright. |
Redtailed Goodeids are still here, and I'm not sure how. The price is great, they're super rare, they're mixed sex with the males showing color already and 90% of the females are pregnant with more babies that are worth a good chunk of change. |
This is the "standard" archerfish. We also have the true freshwater Golden "Clouded" archers as well. |
Balloon German Rams are an option that's always available for those of you looking for standard rams and can't find any. The balloons almost never run out of stock. |
Balloon Red Jewel cichlids are back and this batch is nicer than the last one I think. Color is super bright red on them, I think they made the balloons out of the "lafalili" jewels or some other subspecies that's a lot more red than normal jewels. |
New size of Red Pearl Flowerhorns is here for the first time! These are the same fish we had available last week as a 4 inch, but smaller and much cheaper. Color is still fantastic like the bigger ones, but obviously don't have humps yet. But I think it's worth it,. You can pay $6 for these without a hump. or you can pay $40 for one thats an inch bigger with a hump. Seems like an easy choice to me, personally. |
Rhino Goby are back. These are a great, cheap little oddball goby to try out. I think everyone that's ever bought them has said they liked them. |
