Hey Folks,
Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Or maybe you're still having an extra-long holiday weekend considering how slow it is today. I guess there's some merit in going later this week since holiday travel will have less of an impact on air cargo. You all should be getting busy this week, and non-stop busy next week for at least a few months. Get some stuff in there now because you want to have fish in there ready to sell as soon as you open the doors in January.
I didn't get anything over the weekend, but I've got a fair bit coming this afternoon, and a lot more tomorrow. But it seems like half the stuff I took pictures of on Thursday didn't get on the list, so you have a pretty long new fish list this week.
Be patient if you're trying to place an order today. I'm the only one in the office for the rest of the day. Nick will be back in the office tomorrow.
I did squeeze in a quick walk-through this morning. A few things that stood out include gold rams, regular and medium German blue rams, hujeta rocket gar, black phantom tetras, red-eye tetras, medium male Florida peacocks, 4" Cuban cichlids, huge trimacs, medium yellow and boesmani rainbows, figure-8 puffers, green sailfin mollies, punctatus cories, and ember tetras.
Please give a call if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Tons of new herps available this week, including a ton of nice west African stuff. Wide price range on the new stuff too, including some great value skinks. Hoping to get some new pics later this week, although the cool stuff may sell out before do that.
Got limited numbers of giant Malaysian tokay geckos that are over a foot long. Big tokays are a super impressive display animal, and they'll pretty quickly come out to feed during the day.
In addition to the fire skinks, I also have blue-tail, blue-face, and red-striped skinks available. They're all cheap, and they get even cheaper with lot prices available.
True Surinam red-tails are available in limited numbers. The difference between these true red-tails and the Colombian red-tails is night and day. These get bigger, stockier, and way brighter. They also tend to bit a lot more but they'll calm down.
Calabar burrowing pythons are available. At some point these are going to stop coming in and then everyone will wish the had set some up when they were cheap imports. Yeah, it's a brown snake, but they have light and dark brown speckling, sometimes even orange-ish brown. They're shy at first but if left alone they typically start feeding right away.
Quite a few new inverts in stock, including big female cobalt blues. One of the most impressive spiders in the hobby, they are beautiful. They're also good at putting holes in your hand, so consider this one more a display than a handleable spider. At the other end of the spider spectrum I have adorable regal jumping spiders that all the kids go crazy for these days.

Mangrove monitors are in stock again and smaller this this guy. They're a little high-strung but rarely bite. Fantastic mid-sized species, they're way easier to deal with than something like a water monitor. |
