Lots of big fish in here now for everyone that's always into that sort of thing.  Plenty of these absolutely fantastic Mayan Cichlids in two sizes.  The "3-5 inch" are oversized, about 5-6 inches, and the "6-8 inch" are more like 8".   All have great red color.
    Hey everyone,

We have quite a few new fish to show you pictures of today!  I spent the weekend down in the Miami area scouring the canals for invasives to sell and didn't return empty-handed.  We also got Green Terrors over the weekend, and I know everyone's been waiting on those for quite a while now so get them before they're gone.  The larger size is listed as 5 inch but they're actually more like 4 inch, the price is correct though and I think it's a fair price for 4 inch fish.

For the invasives I brought back, the main thing are Mayan Cichlids.  These are beautiful red and black/blue striped fish that are extremely similar looking to Red Festae/Red Terror.  The only reason you don't have customers asking you for them is because they don't know about them, as they're not a commonly bred fish in the hobby, but they're an extremely common invasive fish in South Florida.  Interestingly, they also school together and do not seem overly territorial unless a pair is spawning, even at the larger sizes.  They swim in big shoals of 30-40 fish in the wild.   We have 2 sizes, and both are very good value if you're looking for some big Central American cichlids.

Belonosox are probably the second coolest fish I brought back.  These are native to South America, but have become well established in Florida.  They are a livebearer like guppies or mollies, but they're predators that look more like a small Gar than a livebearer.  They're super easy to breed, the only difficult part is finding live food small enough for the babies and keeping them fed enough that they don't eat each other.

We also have a couple oddball 1-offs to offer.  A single huge Oscar, a single huge Florida Gar, and a single huge common pleco.  The wild caught plecos are much healthier than tank raised ones, and you'll be shocked at how fat it's stomach is.  Again, only one of each of these, so it's first order to pack gets them.

Last new item from South Florida were some wild caught sailfin mollies (mostly females, but great size and super hardy compared to tank raised mollies and great algae eaters!) and some feral Jewel Cichlids.  The jewels average about an inch and a half, so they're a little too small to be super brightly colored yet, but they're not far off.

Over the weekend we also restocked on a lot of Angelfish, and I have to say the medium sized Marbles look absolutely incredible.  The fins are nice and full and have that "stiff" look to them that makes angelfish so iconic.  I also like the look on the Koi angels that showed up, but if you only want to get one type, go with the marbles.

Give your rep a call if you need anything!

Belonosox AKA Pike Livebearer are one of the coolest livebearers in the world.  They give birth like guppies with tons of fry.  They are fish eaters, so will need feeder guppies until you train them onto something else.  All 30 we have are this big or bigger.  Super impressive.
WYSIWYG Florida Gar available.  That's a 20 Gallon-Long tank he's in, for size reference.
Large wild mollies are mostly female, but great size and extremely hardy.  These are caught in pure freshwater, do not need any salt at all to keep them healthy.
One big 10-12" oscar available (I can't remember if that net is 10 or 12 across, but he's bigger than the net).  Wild Caught in Miami.
Green Terrors restocked, list says 5 inches, but they're more like 4 inches. I still suspect they'll sell out in about one day.
New Blue Kerri Tetras are some of the nicest I've seen come through here.
Uaru came in last week tiny and adorable and are holding up great.
Down to only a handful of the medium Green Umbee which are now basically larges.
    Reptile & Amphibian Highlights
Big reptile update today!  Lots of cool stuff as well as the bread and butter you NEED to keep in stock available right now.  Adult bearded dragons, brown anoles, leopard geckos in 2 sizes, Red Eye and White's treefrogs, Savannah monitors, Fire skinks and pacman frogs for the bread and butter you need.  Have plenty of all of this in stock.

For the more unique animals, there's no shortage of cool stuff either.  African File snakes for the first time in memory.  Sideneck turtles and Russian tortoises are both restocked for the turtle lovers out there.  Isabel and Solomon Isle Ground Boas are one of the coolest and lesser-known snakes in the hobby.  They are very docile, and will eat feeder lizards and usually feeder mice as well, but usually only take live food.  Lots of Ball Pythons restocked this week too with some really eye-catching morphs like Orange Dream Pastels and Blackhead Fireflies available.

Isabel Island Ground Boa have a little bit nicer pattern than the slightly cheaper Solomon Boas.
