    News & New Items
    Hey Everyone,

Everything is now fully back to normal here now that we've been able to have a solid week of incoming import shipments from Asia, and you should start to see the stock list grow again.  We have some really cool stuff lined up for next week, by the way.  I don't want to say it out loud because then that means the shipment gets cancelled, but definitely you won't want to miss next Friday's update.

We had ran out of a LOT of staples the past week or two, due to the hurricane preventing us from getting new shipments in here, but that should be fully rectified now.  Colombia brought in oto's, cheap bottom feeders, all the plecos, bleeding heart and green neon tetras, cories, exodons, arowanas, and much much more.  We hate being out of stock on things like otocinculus and cory catfish, so now that's been fixed after a couple of rough weeks.

Asian imports from several countries also brought in a TON of stuff.  Fish like balloon mollies, mixed mollies, all the guppies, algae eaters, borneo suckers, rasboras, all of the shrimp, blood parrots, and EB Jacks.  Even some more specialty items like redline and kubutai rasboras, snakeskin barbs, and red chili oscars.

The shrimp are a super nice batch, and had the biggest change from last week to this week.  Last week we only had the mix available, but now we have some extremely nice red cherry, the best black crystals I've ever seen, red rili, bloody mary, tigers, and blue diamonds for fancy shrimp.  We also got a restock on the algae eating amano shrimp, which came in about 1 inch, so decent size but not big.

Give your rep a call if you have any questions!

    Tetras & Characins
Emperor tetras are very nice size, and have some absolutely gigantic Black Emperors mixed in there that I'm sure nobody will complain about since they're worth more than the standard color emperors.
Balloon Penguins are looking exactly like they should.  If you prefer your tetras less round, the standard penguin tetras are also extremely nice right now and running big
Blushing Longfin tetra get overlooked most weeks, but they do have a super unique look to them and are almost always a great size since they're a fairly low-demand fish.  Would be a great one to try if you haven't before.
Black Phantom tetras are back in stock.  The super black fins coupled with the silver body is very striking and gets your attention without having flashy color.
Von Rio tetras are one of the nicer colored tetras available this week, with great orangish red coloration on the back half of the body.

    Barbs & Other Cyprinids
Large Tiger barbs are not an exaggeration. They're as big as this fish gets. They're going to get smaller in winter, so grab them while you can before the cold weather comes through and slows the growth.
Albino Tiger barbs are Florida-bred right now, and as a result are very respectable size.   The imported dime-sized fish are NOT what we have, they're all big like this.
Galaxy Rasbora AKA Celestial Pearl Danio.  Running very large (for a fish with a max size of 1 inch) and you can easily see the color and pattern without a magnifying glass.  These are one of the best looking nano fish in the world.
Roselines came back in this week and size is around 2 inches.  They have plenty of color at this size.  Our list says"small" and I think that may scare some of you off from them, but we really should just say "regular".
Brilliant Rasboras are very nice size as has been the norm all summer.  I like this fish because it reminds me of the native Blue Fin Killifish that I used to collect and sell.
Blue LF Danio are a great danio option right now.  Zebras will be very limited supply for a while, and the blues are a perfect substitute

    Livebearers
Lemon Guppy are the brightest solid yellow guppy we get
Green Dumbo Guppies always are a great option that's worth the extra 20 cents or whatever above most of the other guppy prices.
Redtail Crystal Platy are back after a pretty long gap in availability.  These have always been one of the best looking platy strains that we regularly get.
Velvet Wag Swordtails are very unimpressive, both in size and color.  Same for the non-wag velvets.  I would skip these in favor of any of the greens, assorted, or the all-male types we have right now.
All-male Pineapple Sword are not big, but it's not often you can buy 100% males.  For everyone that's dissapointed when your bag of 12 swords has 3 males in it, now's your time to shine.  Buy 50 all-males this week and you'll be set for a while.
Balloon Molly were unavailable last week but they're back and as great as ever.  These are one of the most consistently nice "oddball" strains we get.  They're always a great mix of color, and always have nice big bellies.

    New World Cichlids
Redback Amapa Angelfish.  We got a small group of these from a local breeder.  Size is great, close to a "medium" angel, and when they get mature and are happy they get a nice red back sort of like a manacapuru with a 90% discount.
Chili Oscar restocked and are about 2.75-3 inches with good color.   I think we got about 15 in, so should be enough to last for a full week of sales at least,
Electric Blue Jacks are a great above-average size right now and have the intense coloration you always expect.
Standard flowerhorns are about 2.5 inches and look to be mostly "Red Dragon" types this batch.  These get along with each other no problem at this size, so you don't need to split them up.
Pike Cichlids came back in from Colombia and are a new type that we get far less commonly.  9 times out of 10, the pikes that the supplier sends us are the "belly crawler" type, but these stripey guys are more active and better looking.
Geophagus Sveni, Florida bred back in stock!  MUCH larger than the imported Sveni we can get out of the far-east, without much of a price increase.  Perfect time to grab these if you've been thinking about it.  Even at 2 inches they already have color in the body and fins.
    Old World Cichlids

Red Nyereri are mixed sex, but the males are absolutely stunning.
Rock Kribensis are neither a rock, nor a kribensis, but are definitely a cichlid you should be buying.  Males have great red color, and the females are gold with black patterns throughout so even the girls look good.  Your customers are only not asking you to get these for them because they don't know they exist.  You should buy some
Eureka Red Peacock are starting to color up at about 2 inches.  Florida-bred fish without hormones added, so will be beautiful adults.
Hongi Redtops are still here?  I think maybe they're just getting overlooked in the middle of the mbuna list.  Don't sleep on these, they're full color and fantastic at about 2.5 inches.
Cobalt Zebras are restocked, and usually aren't something we highlight since they're so common, but these do seem to have a  lot more rich blue coloration than normal.
Callochromis are still in stock, very uncommon Tanganyikan.  Google the pics of the adults, this is something that should be way more popular.

    Catfish and Loaches
Colombian Snowball plecos are back!  This batch looks to have larger spots than normal, so the L number might not be correct.  Having said that, no, I don't know what else they would be.  Here's the picture, buy them if you like them.
Clown Pleco are also back for the first time in a few months.  These always sell out fast.  They're great size (3 inch plus) and quite cheap.
Colombian Zebras didn't sell out yet, but we still got a new restock on them since they're normally the most popular fancy pleco by far.  I honestly think if they were a lot more expensive, they would ironically be more popular.  They look almost as good as a leopard Frog, and if we had Leopard Frogs we wouldn't be able to keep them in stock past Monday.  These are a quarter the price of Leopard Frogs.
Green Phantoms round out the Colombian plecos with a new size available.  We still have the XL size as well.
Metae Cory came in this week.  Similar looking to Skunks, these tend to be hardier than a lot of the other wild caught cory cats is sort of my anecdotal opinion on them.
Large Black Venezuelan Cory are still here and I'm confused as to why.  We actualyl lowered the price on them compared to the smaller ones we had a month or two ago, and the smaller ones we ended up scratching about 40 of.  If you tried ordering them back then, now's your chance.  You'll save money AND get a bigger fish
Punctatus Cory are the best size wild cory that came in this week.  If you want the biggest cory, these or the FL-bred LG Albinos would be your best choice.
Redtail Catfish came in at a solid 3 inches and look healthy.  A lot of times these come in very skinny when they're smaller, because their metabolism is honestly insane.  You need to feed them 3 or 4 times a day, constantly keep food in them.
Banjo Catfish get overlooked a lot, but are a very inexpensive oddball fish.  If you want to get something kind of neat in, but don't want to spend more than a couple bucks, here's your fish
Borneo Suckers are in stock again!  These are a type of hillstream loach that appreciates fast moving water, and actually are a fantastic algae eater.
Clown Loaches are back too!  size is about 1.75 inches, but our price on them is less than I believe every other major wholesaler.

    Other Fish & Stuff
Neon Dwarf Rainbow AKA Praecox Rainbow are coming in bigger than they have all year so far.  Absolutely stunning species that has equally attractive males and females.
Goyder River Rainbows are looking better than they have all year as well.  It's been a while since I've seen this much color on this species.
Kamaka are the most underrated rainbow most weeks.  They've been running nice and big for about half a year now, and we still probably only sell a few dozen per week.  In my opinion, this is a top 3 best looking rainbow.  Pics don't do them justice.
Silver Arowana are back from Colombia this week.  Slightly smaller than last batch, but also quite a bit cheaper as a result.  These are in the 5-6 inch range.
Pinktail Chalceus are about 4 inches.  These have really nice color.
Dwarf Puffers AKA Pea Puffers are finally back!   I expect we will sell out by probably Tuesday since they've been out of stock for several months and EVERYBODY wants them.  Hopefully though this means we will be getting them every week again now that they're back.

Black Crystal Shrimp are the nicest shrimp I've seen here in recent memory.  They're big, fully grown adults, and have very crisp patterning.
Red Crystal are also restocked and are definitely less impressive than the Black Crystal.  The white color doesn't seem to be as vibrant on these.
Hermit crabs are back in stock from haiti.

    Saltwater Corals
The Saltwater stock-list gets sent out on MONDAY afternoon.

In saltwater, we offer tons of top-of-the-line corals.  If you need really nice frags to sell for $10-15, we've got you covered.  If you want a $400 show piece unique Australian brain corals, we've got that too.  Tons of the coral frags are aquacultured in-house and are named lineage pieces of various SPS and LPS.  Import frags that are MADE in-house are also available, and are great options to get slightly bigger pieces that customers want like torches, hammers, blastos, acans, zoas, etc.
