Hey everyone,
If you did not read the email we sent on Friday (which, by the way, you really should be doing.....we post all of the fish pictures and a more thorough update on Friday) then you'll be glad to hear we are 100% back to operations as normal here following Hurricane Milton. Lots of Florida farms were affected heavily though, and we are wishing them the best. Several farmers we get stock from on a weekly basis had severe damage that may limit the availability of some Florida bred fish for the next couple of months. Our farm ponds both here in Plant city and down in Arcadia both made it through pretty good overall with just some minor flooding, so GloFish production is largely the same as before the storm.
We've got quite a bit to add to the list this morning that got restocked yesterday and is good to go. Most of the types of angelfish are back in stock, hopefully the angelfish breeder didn't get hit as bad as they initially thought since last week they were not able to send us any fish. I also saw some really nice emperor tetras out there that we didn't have last week. Guppies of most types got restocked yesterday as well, but those were still left on the normal part of the stock list. Shrimp we didn't get any more variety in, but got several thousand of the deluxe mix in last night so those should have plenty to last the week. Electric Blue jacks are back in stock and look as great as always. Tank raised small black ghost knives and blood parrots both came in yesterday as well.
The discus on the stock list are not actually here, I hate to say. Looks like we forgot to update that section Friday when we made the new list, so sorry about that. But we DO have a sizable discus restock coming in Wednesday of this week, so next week they'll be ready to sell. We are getting snow whites, leopards, pigeon bloods, blue diamonds, and assortment mixtures, ai so everyone knows for next week. These can NOT ship out this week, discus need to get checked by our vet first and make sure they're stable so we know we aren't about to pass along a potential problem to you.
Give your rep a call if you need anything!
