Hey Everyone,
This week was another doozy with the weather for everybody across the country, but next week's weather looks MUCH better for shipping, with highs in the 50s and 60s for most of the country. That's a cakewalk after dealing with all this 12 degrees and snowing stuff that everyone's had the last week or two. So if you waited to ship, nows your chance!
Got a lot of really nice medium/high end bread and butter stuff in this week like blue kerri tetras and black phantom tetras. XL swordtails are back and always popular. Kissing gouramis and paradise gouramis are running bigger than normal.
We also have TONS of phenomenal African cichlids at the medium size. All florida bred males and in full stunning color.
Chinese new year is going to screw up incoming shipments for us to restock from Asia next week (even countries other than China celebrate Chinese New Year, and they basically shut their country down for a few days) so we do unfortunately expect to run out of things like mollies, platies, guppies, goldfish later in the week without a midweek restock. Order early for best fill rate!
Give your rep a call if you have any questions!

Blue Kerri Tetra are always one of the most popular tetras. |
Black Phantom tetras are back and look great. Good size and perfect color. |
Male Congo Tetras came in really nice again this week. |
Restocked on normal Serpae tetras and they came in suprisingly big for imported tetras. Longfin Serpae are also in stock in good numbers. |
Gold Neon Tetra are running big. Beautiful pink based neon tetras. |
Sunset Variatus are a super nice gold coloration with red tails. What shows up as Sunset variatus does change from week to week here from different suppliers, so they might not always look like this if you order them 3 weeks from now. |
Blue butterfly moon platy are the newest addition to the platy list, and they are super colorful! Worth the slight increase in price, but i'll always stand by saying your best option for buying platies are the XL assortment. |
XL Swordtails are back, and have lots of tuxedo types in the mix like this one here. Best value for a swordtail by far. |
2 more fish from the XL sword mix to show variety |
Balloon molly mix has some awesome fish in there right now, like this black and red calico looking guy. Males have big dorsal fins like a sailfin molly. |
The most run of the mill fish ever, the Dalmation Molly. But they're popular for a good reason, and every store should carry them even if you personally find them boring. |
Blue Paradise Gourami are running really big and nice at the moment. These are FL bred fish. |
Moonlight gourami are really cool, very different looking gouramis. The silver color is almost like a satin-finish, very shiny and reflects blueish hues back at you. |
Neon red blue dwarf gourami are MUCH nicer than the standard male dwarf gourami. same exact color, but these look like the saturation on your phones photo settings got cranked up in real life. |
Kissing gouramis were out of stock for like 2 years recently but we've had them in stock consistently for the past month or two now. Hopefully these never go away again because they're another hobby staple. |
Red Rainbow males look great. keep in mind though females are pretty boring, and you will get mixed sex when you buy these. I'd highly recommend selling them in pairs only to customers, or jacking your males up to like $20 each and selling the females at a much lower margin to clear them out. Otherwise you'll get stuck with a tank full of females and you'll be begging us to sell you only males, which we can't do. |
Goyder River Rainbows are still running exceptionally nice right now. During the summer these get a lot more muted so they must like the cooler water temps we have in the winter here. |
Emerald Rainbows are really big, definitely your best bang for the buck in Rainbows. Females are not colorful like the males, but they're not as bad looking as the female red rainbows. |
Cherry Red Peacock. Showing you the variety in this fish. I think the breeder was using this name to mean "any peacock with red on it I'm going to call a Cherry Red" |
Large hap another pic to show the variety in the mix. |
OB Redstratus are one of the nicest looking cichlids we get from this breeder and this batch is no exception. |
White Top Afras are new for this week and came in great. I love Afras, they don't get as big as most other Mbuna species, and the males really show off to each other in a big way. |
Red Top Hongis are back at the regular size, and they'll probably sell out quick. This is always one of the most popular mbuna species. |
Chismulae Mbuna are still here and they've basically doubled in size. If you like having less common fish, you should be buying these. They're a great value now that they've grown up in our tanks here. |
Chailosi Elongatus Medium size are the nicest mbuna here. They came in way oversized for a medium, honestly, and the color on the males is great. These are mixed sex, with probably 70% males, but even the females look pretty good with plenty of blue coloration. |
Red Nyererei Mediums are still here, still stunning. I THINK the latest batch is all males....if it's not, it's like 95% males. |
Rubberlip Plecos are a great alternative to bushynose. They are wild caught so they're always good size like this, and i think if you haven't tried them before it's one you really should consider. They're great algae-eaters, and max out about 4 inches so even a 10 gallon tank isn't too crazy for them. |
Lemon Blue Eye bushynose came in nicer than I've ever seen before in my life. Males have bristles already, and the color is such a crisp golden yellow, they're honestly perfect. |
Large-sized Julii Cory cats are still in stock, and on special this week, making them one of the best options for a cory cat. This is something I expect to run out of by Tuesday or Wednesday though, so if you're wanting to get 50 or 100 of them, get your order in on Monday, |
Scarlet Badis are back! We had Tiger Badis last week, but Scarlets are the better looking of the two species according to most people. Personally I like both, but there's no denying the red color on the scarlets is eye catching. |
Yellow Vampire Crabs are still in stock. I think ya'll must have not looked at the crustacean section or something, because I can't remember last time we got these and they DIDNT sell out in a week. If you missed them, you have another chance! |
