Plus specials, reptiles, saltwater, and updated Nautilus Stocklist
Hey everyone,
Off to a good start this week with some fish I wasn't expecting arriving over the weekend. Blue Neon Gobies are back, and probably the most well-known and desirable freshwater goby. They're a Stiphodon Goby, so they're great at cleaning film algae in a tank, and really should be going in to well-oxygenated established tanks. We also got a restock of the 4 inch Heckellii and they're looking good like always with solid streamers already forming on the fins of the males.
Tomorrow we have I think 3 or 4 new 2-3 inch (supposed to be) discus arriving! These won't be on the new fish list since they're not going to be able to ship out this week, but if you're interested in discus just letting you know now to keep an eye out for Friday's list. We got more Leopards, Blue Diamonds, Red Pigeonbloods, and assorted varieties from 2 different breeders.
Temps look like they're coming down nationwide for nighttime lows already, so we're keeping an eye on that as we ship this week. A lot of orders are going to not have ice packs right now because the overnight temps are into the 60's so we can't cool the fish off any more beyond what's going to happen naturally, even though you might still be in the 80's forecasted during the day the fish are arriving. This is especially important for those of you that pick up from the airport: Please try to be there on time ready to grab the fish when they land or shortly after, since we're making all these decisions assuming that people will be getting boxes ASAP when available (and morning deliveries with UPS are pretty reliable for all you UPS customers).
Give your rep a call if you need anything!

Green swordtails might be a "basic" type, but I still think they look cool. I like the yellow sword color and the calico spots on the males. |

Reptile guy bought out a collection to flip so there's actually a ton of new exciting stuff on the list. They're also not on there, but he told us he got some large sized redfoot tortoises and sulcatas too. If you're interested, get with your rep and we can find the price for you (they're not going to be less than probably $150-200, they'll be a normal wholesale market price, not some crazy deal).
Lot of new fancy ball pythons for a great flippable price. That banana leopard is an incredible morph combo that would make a great pet for someone that wants a snake that looks awesome and doesnt break the bank.
Cali kingsnakes, yellow stripe basilisks, adult bearded dragons, and lots of other high demand great stuff this week. Check out the reptile list even if you don't normally buy reptiles from us. Reminder, there is NO MINIMUM for reptiles to add to your fish order. If you want one snake, that's fine.
