Plus specials, reptiles, saltwater, and updated Nautilus Stocklist
Hey everyone,
I don't have a ton of an update for you other than to say definitely check out the "new fish" list above. We had a fair number of important new items that we didn't have pricing updated for yet in time for the Friday stocklist, so those are reflected on the new fish list.
Dave is stuck in Chicago where he was at Aquashella over the weekend. The flights back to Tampa were cancelled this morning and delayed until later this evening, so unfortunately we don't have a way to know what we have on the incoming list from our Imported fish at this point.
In related, weather-related news: Aside from the incoming flights getting delayed this morning, we are NOT expecting any sort of delays or issues for our outgoing shipments tomorrow or later in the week. The storm has already passed us here in Tampa and we have just some very light showers coming through now. We have been assured by our reps with both Southwest and UPS that there should be no significant delays or issues as a result of the storm at this point going forward. So order freely this week and don't worry about it not making it out....every indication we have as of right now says we should be fine.
Give your rep a call if you need anything!

Reptile & Amphibian Highlights

Lot of neat new reptiles this week! My personal favorite are the Calibar Burrowing Pythons, which are WAY down in price compared to just a couple years ago. I remember almost buying a pair when they were still $400 each back in the height of the covid animal craze. They're a really cool snake that lives underground usually and has a tail that looks just like it's head to confuse predators. Kind of like a sand boa, but much larger and therefore more fun to handle.
Also from Africa, restocks on the cheap stuff like baby savannah monitors and green bush snakes. Plus for the first time I can think of, Egyptian Giant Uromastix! These are truly awesome animals. I think they were illegal to export for a long time because they've been extremely rare in the hobby. If you want something that will be super unique and catch people's eye this is the reptile you want for sure.
