First knight gobies I've seen here in several years |
|
Hey Folks,
Lots of new stuff came in yesterday, still waiting on a few fish this afternoon, and I have some nice Florida specialty fish coming in tomorrow.
Make sure you check out the new fish list as I've got special prices on a lot of the Centrals that are coming in. You get a nice discount for buying before it goes on the full list on Friday.
I have knight gobies in for the first time in years. These are vey nice size. They allegedly get their name from a long lance-like dorsal fin spike. This is a brackish fish that I wouldn't expect to do well in freshwater for any length of time.
Guppies that look good from my weekend restock include little red Endlers, red cobras, midnights, pigeonbloods, and white dumbos. Some other new fish that came in include true giant gouramis, rhino gobies, a few (five) monos, blue kerri tetras, EB jacks, albino bichirs, black ghost, 3" clown knives, regular and gold tinfoils, and a ton of new bettas. I'm still expecting OB peacocks, blood parrots, zebra loaches, balloon rams, and gold honey gourmis.
For local fish, I have new veil tail cherry barbs that look great. Also have new pastel aka gold neon tetras that got a little bigger this week. I'm expecting a bunch of new Centrals tomorrow include argentea, red tiger motas, yellow jacket friedrichstahli, blue umbees, Costa Rican midas, and a few other things.
Some fish that stood out in today's walk-through include gold neon rosy barbs, checkerboard barbs, Colombian tetras, OB red empress, albino cherry barbs, longfin serpaes, kubotai neon green rasboras, Australian rainbows, and OB fuelleborni.
Please give a call if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Joe Hiduke Sales Manager Nautilus |

Not much new again this week but I should have more available sometime this week.
Baby veiled chameleons are still a great value, with the caveat that you need to know what you're doing with baby chameleons. I wouldn't recommend immediately offering these for sale to your customers but you can put a little size on them and then get a good mark.
Medium crested geckos are available. I've seen some babies available a lot cheaper, but these are very well started and solid. Baby cresteds aren't as touchy as baby veiled but they're not always bulletproof. Once they get some size on them they're a lot hardier.
Still have albino emoryi available. This is very close to a creamsicle corn, a high orange amel. The orange color in the creamsicle corns originally came from crossing in emoryi back when they were considered a subspecies of corn snake.

Lots of Florida-collected baby veiled chameleons available now. |

Central American boas are a good value. They're not real friendly right now but they will calm down fine if you spend a bit of time holding them. |
