Hey folks,
Happy early 4th of July! Speaking of which, we will be CLOSED Thursday and Friday. That means Wednesday is the last pack day for the week, and we need to have orders for Wednesday pack in the system before we close on Tuesday like usual! So 5Pm eastern time Tuesday is the latest you can submit an order to get fish this week. And trust me, you're not going to want to miss that deadline when you see what we got new for you this week.....it's a good one.
First off, Peru is here, and we actually got some pretty neat stuff that very rarely gets filled by the Peru exporters. You see the new Rivulus Killifish up top, super rare, don't sleep on those. We also got some nice Acaras, a new Proteus Pike, big cory cats, SA Lungfish, new plecos, Sabertooth Payara, and much more!
We also got a super nice delivery of some locally bred central/South American cichlids with size to them. i can't remember the last time we had full grown firemouths in here, but we do now. Also got 2 larger sizes of the still relatively new and rare "blue aureum" firemouths along with chocolate cichlids, 5 inch green terrors, and electric blue carpintis.
The new XL peacocks are worth every penny of their not-trivial price. Check the pics out on those for sure this week. There are some fish in this batch that really make me wish I had a big 200 gallon tank at home to put display quality Africans in, I'd be taking these all home myself. But alas, my wife has put a hard limit on the 30ish fish tanks in my fish room, so my loss is your gain.

| The wait is almost over! The Electric Green® Angels official launch date is July 26th! These are just amazing as Starfire Reds® with some color variations in the mix like this one displaying "Blushing" traits and some with more black in the fins. This pic is taken in the office here with a cell phone, completely unedited so you can see exactly how they're going to look in your tanks, if you didn't come see them at Global Pet Expo. The color is fantastic and these will be the perfect compliment to the Starfire Red® Angels you already have. |

| Starfire Red® Gourami |
| Starfire Red® Angels are still shipping in good numbers and pair really well with the new Starfire Red® Gouramis! |
| Been years since we've seen this awesome little fish, the "Hummingbird Tetra". They are named for the fact that they dart and flit around the tank like a hummingbird. Much more darter or goby-like that a normal tetra, very interesting little fish. Peaceful community, can go with literally anything that won't eat them. |
| "Red Supermaculatum" Acaras are back from Peru as well! This one pictured here is the lone big guy in the shipment, but wanted to show you this one so you can see the color and pattern of them. The vast majority are about the size of the fish pictured below. |
| Green Proteus Pikes are here for the first time ever! These are a smaller species of pike that are perfect tank-size for most people. They have a very cool color pattern too. Nice fluorescent green vertical striping all the way down the body that you can see in the photo here. |
| This is probably the most exciting fish for most of you that's new this week, and for the first time in 2026, Sabertooth Payara! These are the normal scomberoides species, NOT Armatus. Still, very unique predator that gets about 20 inches or so, and will eat a fish almost as big as they are. As adults the teeth on these guys are seriously nasty, and can actually hurt you pretty bad if you put your hand in the tank when they're in a feeding frenzy. |
| Lima shovelnose just sold out this week from the previous Peru shipment, and we got more. So if you got these scratched this past week, try again next week and you'll get them. |
| Everyone's favorite wood cat, the "oil" or "honeycomb" cat are back again. Definitely the best looking wood cat in the hobby. |
| Skunk Cory cats came in humongous this week, making them a great option for a nice big cory for your shop. |
| Wild Juli cory are also here from Peru, which is great timing because the tank raised ones have ran out recently. So now you can get wild ones for about the same price, but double the size! |
| Smokey Peckoltia Plecos are a very inexpensive fancy pleco from Colombia that we just got for the first time in about 3 or 4 years. There's sort of like a colombian zebra but with brown instead of white between the dark patches/stripes. Much cheaper though, so they make a good option to carry for people that need a pleco that's not going to get too big. |
| Lemon Oscars are restocked and look fantastic. Very clean yellow bodies in this batch, no "tiger" types. |
| BB Gobies are back. Mention these every time we get them because when available they are the best selling Goby in the FW/brackish part of the hobby. Super adorable, no one can resist these. |
| Blue tetras are one of the most unique tetras available, with a truly blue coloration that you can't find in much else other than I guess Neon Tetras. This is more of a solid body pale blue though instead of s ingle stripe. |
| Blue Badis are the largest of the badis species we get (average size is an inch or so, much bigger than scarlets or black tigers) and they're on special this week! Great opportunity to pick up a nice unique nano fish for your planted tank customers. |
| The better looking of the hillstream loaches, the Sewellia, got restocked. They tend to go quick though, especialyl on weeks when we don't also have the cheaper alternative of the Borneo Suckers available. |
| Tank raised Adolfi Cory Cats are restocked and showing good orange on their heads already even at a relatively small size. |
| Black Ruby Barbs are back after a pretty long hiatus. This is a perfect representation of what they look like right now, sort of like a tiger barb, but the males will turn more or less solid black with red in no time at all after settling in. They're big enough to be showing adult coloration. |
| Veiltail Cherry Barbs are locally bred and look amazing right now! We can never get enough to last through the entire week, but with it being a short shipping week due to the holiday this week we should hopefully have enough for this week. |
| Checkerboard barbs are such an underrated barb. They're much more peaceful that some other species, and have awesome blue body color with red fins. |
| Medium sized angelfish are basically larges right now. Great value. We have both assorted color as well as koi, all-marble, smokey, and black all available as mediums right now. |
| Med Koi angel example. Most have orange coverage very similar to this. Some are a little less, very few have much more than this. |
| New for this week, Smokey Angels are ready to go at medium size as well! |
| New angel color available! They're calling this "blue pinoy koi". Here's what they look like, don't google that name and expect photos online. I'm assuming these get bluer as they mature, but since we've never had them before I unfortunately can't confirm that for certain. They're nicely priced though, so should be easy sells regardless. |
| Orange Shoulder Severums are back in stock for those that want something a little nicer than the standard green severum. without having to pay red-spotted-gold pricing. |
| Salvini Cichlids still exist? Apparently they do! First time they've been in stock for almost a full year i think. Never thought I'd see the day I was touting this as an exciting new addition to the list, but here we are. They do look fantastic though, this is the best looking locality variant of salvini, IMO. Tons of red in the belly. |
| New fish alert!!! Blue Aureums are here at both a medium and large size! Large is pictured, mediums are about 2.5 inches or so. This is a very uncommon central american thats closely related to firemouths with plenty of awesome color. |
| Speaking of firemouths.....we finally have big ones! Medium and large firemouths both available this week (large pictured, obviously, they don't get much bigger than that). Do not order the regular sized firemouths, please. They're microscopic and from a different breeder with lower quality fish. These mediums and larges are fantastic examples of the species. |
| Electric Blue Carptintis are also here, and again at both medium and large size! it's hard to find a better looking fish in freshwater than these guys, full stop. Absolutely stunningly beautiful fish. |
| keeping the new additions rolling in the New World cichlids category, we have both regular and 3 inch sized chocolates. The 3 inchers are a little oversized, as you can see here. Definitely worth it to pay a little more for those until we run out and only have regulars left. |
| Jaguar AKA Managuenses got restocked, so if you got scratched on them this week we apologize, they're back again. Size is right around 2 inch. |
| 5 Inch Green terrors have been around a few times lately so not super new but always exciting. This timeless classic will always sell in any store anywhere in the country. People love green terrors. |
| We have a few 5 inch Brasilensis left as well. No end of awesome bigger cichlids for you this week. |
| Regular sized Phochilus (AKA Star Sapphire) are way oversized. Now's your chance to get them with color at a reasonable price. They usually run very small. |
| Medium mixed peacocks are as always Florida bred and have some awesome fish in it like this albino German Red. |
| Here's another medium mix, this time a pretty OB of some sort. |
| New XL Peacocks came in this week to restock, and there are some just absolute showstoppers in the batch. They're obviously peacock/hap hybrids, but nobody cares about that, they just want pretty fish, which these are. |
| Another awesome fish in the new XL peacock mix. |
| And another one. I wish i had a big cichlid tank at home, you wouldn't be seeing these pics if I had somewhere to put these myself haha. |
| And another XL peacock. incredible. |
| Buffalo heads are still here! These are pretty rare in the hobby nowadays, I'm shocked we didn't sell out when these came in a few weeks ago. |
| Our employee that breeds these Tanganyikan Killifish brought us some more. You'll never find them available as big as these are wholesale. Imported fish are cheaper but a quarter the size. |

| Pinnochios are back as well. Keep in mind for their care these are Caradinas, not Neos. |
