Debated as to whether or not to put these in the "Limited Fish" Section as we only have a few available but the 5" Heckelii are so nice I felt they belong here at the top.
    Starfire Red® Gourami
Starfire Red® Angels still getting filled every week and the size is select+. These are outstanding and pair well with the Starfire Red® Gouramis. No better time to stock up than on a launch week!

    Hey Folks,

Hope it's not as blistering hot wherever you are as it is here. But warm weather usually means better growth rates which results in bigger fish and that certainly seems to be the case this week. Just a reminder we still have plenty of Starfire Red® Gouramis and Angels available. Both of which are still shipping out at a really nice size.

We got in a few goodies over the weekend. The best looking is also the most limited, 5" Geo. Brasiliensis (21176). These have some insane turquoise color to them but we were only able to secure a few pieces so act quickly if you want to try to grab one. And speaking of Geos, or at least closely related we got in some 5" Heckelii. Super iridescent with streamers already starting to flow. But if you're looking for something a bit smaller we also have them in a 2"(reg.) size. And it looks like I accidentally started a theme here but in addition to all of those we also got in 5" Green Terrors. Mentioned a slew of Lake Victorian Cichlids in the Friday email but we go one more in over the weekend, medium Red Nyererei. Certainly not a "new" fish but the new batch looks amazing. But I'll just let the pic down below do the talking.

It wasn't just all about Cichlids for the incoming this weekend however. New medium Yellow Rainbows are absolute screamers. These will pair nicely with the medium Turquoise that everyone should already be ordering this week. Something else that should be on all orders this week are the Buenos Aires Tetras. Yes, it's super common. And yes, it's not the most colorful Tetra in the world. However that doesn't mean they're not impressive because this group certainly is. But don't take my word for it, check out the pic in the gallery down below. And while you're down there be sure to check out our "Limited Fish" section before these gems are all gone.

For those of you who missed the Friday Newsletter here's a recap:
Had another great week of incoming, and we consider ourselves pretty lucky for some of this. Finally got in the Peru order we've been waiting on for some time now but it was well worth it. Out of all the neat new stuff that came in I have to say my favorite are the Splash Tetras. These are few different species that come in under this somewhat generic moniker but these are the "Four Spot" (Pyrrhulina Spilota). Might end up splitting these into two sizes as about half of them are average size while there are some others that are absolute giants. My second favorite are the Festivums but that's probably because I'm old. These were in every Aquarium Store when I was growing up right in between the Keyholes and Egyptian Mouthbrooders. These days they pop up very infrequently so if you want a bit of fish nostalgia in your life then look no further.  The thing you'll likely be the most excited about though is probably actually the least exciting fish on the order.....but we have Otocinculus back in stock thanks to this Peru order as well.  Nobody's getting Otos from Colombia right now, so I'd recommend buying 4 times as many as you normally do, and having these hold you over for a couple weeks.

Peru saw a ton in the way of Loricariids as well as some other bottom dwellers. The most interesting has to be the Flathead Spotted Cats. The are a rather unusual looking Pim type with a stretched out body donning the stereotypical silver coloration accented by some black spots. We also got in what was listed as Corydoras Blochi but these look to be a Julii/Trilineatus type. Either way they are the biggest Cry we have this week and are a must-have for sure. And not to be outdone we got in a couple of Plecos on that same shipment including Adonis and Flash.

Since we're short on time gonna jump right into Florida raised fish. It was one heck of a week for Barbs of all things. If it's Cherries you need it's Cherries we got. Not only do we have regulars but we have albino, veiltail and albino veiltail. Red Glass Barbs are back in the rotation and while the size is average the color is super bright. In Tetras we finally got Candy Canes for the first I believe since Christmas (or shortly thereafter). Size and color are great on these. And speaking of great size the Glowlights are some of the biggest I have ever seen. Serpaes look to be getting filled in on a more regular basis as are the Red Eyes.

We got in quite a few really nice Vics in this week. Most impressive are the medium rock Kribs. These are in a tank at the bottom of one of the rack and yet they will still make your head turn. A close second are the Tomato Haps. Got those in both a medium and large size. Zebra Obliqs never disappoint. And got some really nice Ruby Greens in a regular size for the first time in ages.

Have even fewer of the 5" Green Terrors than the Heckelii but again these are so nice and don't come in as often as I would like wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to see them.
Got more 5 inch Geo Brasiliensis over the weekend, along with 5 inch Heckelli and some larger Green Terrors.
Red Nyererei got a restock late last week and they are showing fantastic color today. If you're not stocking these you need to try some. These sell incredibly well and are priced to move.
Red Frontosas came in late last week so we didn't have time to include them in the Friday email. They are running much bigger than usual as these are far east imports and normally come in around an 1" at best. Very economically priced making them one of the week's best value Cichlids.
Medium Yellow Rainbows are coming in huge and gorgeous. These and the medium Turquoise are your best bets for bigger sized Rainbows this week.
Got Bosemani Rainbows in for the first time in what feels like forever. Came in as regulars and the one in the pic here is very representative of the group.
Fresh batch of Galaxy Rasboras are really nice size this week, big enough to tell what they are with out the use of a magnifying glass lol.
Buenos Aires Tetras are probably I have ever seen. Did a double take when I walked past their tank. Assuming these were breeders as they are all gynormous with a bunch of gravid females in the group.
Got a few Tire Track Eels available this week. Running right around 4" so big enough to be showing off the pattern that earned them their name.
