    Mudskippers are in stock!
And I have prices on the huge orandas and telescopes (check out the new fish list).
    Hey Folks,

All kind of new fish in here this week. I have a few new Florida fish and a lot of far-east imports.

Mudskippers are definitely the most exciting thing that came in. These are pretty good sized African mudskippers, at least 4". They still have a lot of growing to do as this species gets nearly a foot long. These are brackish/salt species that does best with quite a bit of salt in the water. They'll quickly take to live insects, and it won't take long before they'll take pellets off of tongs, and eventually they'll eat out of your hand.

Back in stock with 8" royal clown knives. Super impressive fish, but be warned that these are way smaller than usual. The biggest ones are probably right around 8", some of them are a bit smaller. This size typically comes in more like a foot long, so just being up to list size makes them smaller than usual.

Red-spot gold severums are back in stock from Florida. Pretty good sized mediums that have a ton of color considering they're not juiced imports. They'll get even more red as they get bigger. In addition to the red-spot golds I have a couple different green severum types. The select size is the standard 'Peru' green severum, the fish that's been in Florida for decades that may or may not go back to Peru fish. The regular size is, I think, the old 'rotkeil' red shoulder type. They look exactly like green severums right now but it's a really nice strain that gets more red than the orange-shoulder greens.

The new mixed 'peacocks' also include some gorgeous Taiwan Reef males, and every fish in the tank is big and bright. Florida fish, not hormone fed imports. Also have new Florida-bred large bushynose and big black phantom tetras.

Various other fish that stood out in today's walk-through include big penguin tetras, ember tetras, bleeding hearts, zebra danios, dawn platies, black rams, select veil angels, uaru, electric blue rams, balloon rams, and regular brasiliensis.

Please give a call if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

Surinam toads are in stock this week. These are seasonal so it's been a while since they've been around. These are fully aquatic like a clawed frog so they're perfectly suited for aquatics only stores. They have a weird and gross reproductive strategy where the eggs embed in the back of the female frog eventually hatching out as fully developed froglets.
