If you missed the Friday email then you missed the pic of what is arguably the nicest fish on the farm, Apistogramma Agassizi Double Red. These are absolutely amazing and about 90% male!
    Hey Folks,

Not a ton of new stuff came in over the weekend to update on, so mostly just working with the same stuff we mentioned in the main email on Friday I'll paste below.  We did get a new batch of Rosy Barbs in that's mixed sex with very nice males.   There was quite a lot new though we talked about and put photos in Friday about, so make sure to check it out for the pictures!

    ______________________FROM FRIDAY EMAIL____________________
Little bit of bad news. Due to circumstances beyond our control were unable to get any Colombia shipments in this week. So unfortunately we will be out of some staples including Otos, Spotted Pictus Cats, Clown and rubber Plecos etc.  We currently still have Colombian Snowball and Zebra plecos, but I expect they'll run out by Tuesday probably. We are hoping to double up on orders from two of our Colombia shippers next week but no guarantee as of yet. We are also working on getting in Peru to help shore up some of the gaps. In better news we did get quite a bit in the way of far east imports as well as a lot of restocks on some Florida home grown faves. So there are still plenty of great fish to choose from.

We'll start with Indo. This is probably the most I've been excited about an Indo shipment in a while. My absolute favorite item to come in are the Apistogramma Agassizi Double Reds. I know that's a mouthful and for those of you who aren't familiar with these they are a type of peaceful dwarf South American Cichlid. A relative of the super popular Blue Ram, these guys come in a variety of different color morphs, stay small and are relatively peaceful when it comes to different species. I've kept these in pairs in planted aquariums with Cardinal Tetras. My next favorite in this shipment are the Tiger Datnoids. We got these in about a month ago and they sold out immediately so we doubled down on this order. You'll see in the pic down below that these are even nicer than the last batch. And last but definitely not least are the Clouded Archers. Hate the name but love the fish. This is a true freshwater species and are quite hardy. I recommend setting up a s midsized display with these and you'll be able to train them to spit crickets out from between your fingers. Customers go nuts for this and is a great crowd pleaser to do live feedings on the weekends. Only have five pieces on these so they're extremely limited.

A lot of great Florida raised fish are making their way back into inventory including Gold Barbs. Don't wanna hype these up too much since I don't know how long we'll be able to keep them in stock but as you'll see from the pic down below this batch came in great. Also got restocked on one of my personal favorites, Black German Rams. These can vary from one bloodline to the next but these came in about as dark as I've seen. Some strains tend to be faded. Joe used to refer to those as Indigo Rams. But these are definitely a good example of what the strain should look like. And of course I can't talk about Florida raised fish without bringing up some of the Cichlids. I've been a little heavy handed on the Africans lately so I'll just focus on the Centrals and Southies.
One of the most overlooked gems are the 5" Heckelii. These are absolutely fantastic with great color and full streamers. Pic doesn't do them justice so you'll just have to trust me on this one. A couple weeks ago we featured a pic of some adult True Red Terrors. Now while we don't have large specimens available we did get some more juveniles of that exact same bloodline back in. These are outstanding as adults and sell out very quickly. And lastly we got in Tuba Cichlids. Now I'm sure many of you are unfamiliar with these as they tend be pretty rare. I have a pic of the juveniles we have but definitely Google these and you'll see just how incredible they are once they mature. Cichlid enthusiasts will knock down your door if you find out you have these. Very tough to find and highly sought after.

I'll wrap things up with a brief summary of our Discus selection this week. We have been trying to bring more and more in each week of different varieties to see how the market is on them currently and the results have not been disappointing. We've been either sold out or nearly sold out each and every week so this week we upped the anty brought in more than I've seen in the entire time I've been here. These are mostly from Singapore and the size and color is great on all of them. I mean it when I say you can't go wrong with any of the types we have in stock. Check out the pics below and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Check out the pictures and writeups about the specifics below and give your rep a call if you have any questions

Mixed sex normal fin Rosy Barbs are super super nice.  I'd recommend these for sure this week, as they're one of the less expensive barbs in addition to being great size with great color.
Red Phantom Tetras were sick when they came in 2 weeks ago, but they're solid and ready to go now this week.  Might have taken them off the stock list, but should be on the "new fish list" above if not.
Samurai Gouramis are super nice size and females are showing their red and green color already.  These get along well with each other, unlike most other gourami species, and make a great looking display.
Gardneri Kilifish are coming in larger than normal, and therefore with more color than normal.  They're mixed sex, like it says on the list, only males in the picture here.
Madagascar Rainbows are coming in consistently again.  This is one of the more unique Rainbows, with a cigar-shaped body, totally different from all the Australian species.
Medium Albino Compressiceps came in over the weekend, so we didn't have a photo for the Friday email.  They lose half their color when they get removed from the water, in the tank they look solid yellow and very cool.
Large Male Haps include some absolute bangers like this large Compressicep that's starting to color up.  If you tell your rep what you're looking for, we likely can pick them for you.
Regular size Borleyi Redfins are very mixy in size, but even the smallest ones look fantastic.  The biggest ones should be transforming in color any day now.
Regular size Borleyi Redfin OB's are fantastic.  It took a LONG time for the breeders to release mixed sex OB borleyi's, due to wanting to keep the strain exclusive to themselves, but now anyone can buy these and raise up a few breeding pairs.
Albino Peacocks are fantastic, as always.  I'm not really one for albino fish normally, but something about the blotchiness of the peacocks makes the albinos still look pretty cool.
    Reptile & Amphibian Highlights
Got a decent reptile update this week!  We got corn snakes back on the list at the 18-24 inch size, always sell out quick. Savannah monitors, golden geckos, and both colors of Uromastix are all back in stock this week too.  Those are some of the most popular reptiles in the hobby, so they're a welcome sight back on the list.  If you don't carry Gold Geckos, you should.  You can hold one in a 12x12x12 exo terra for sale, so doesn't need much space, and they're hardy cricket eaters and cheap.
