| Albino Flameback Victorian Haps are here for the first time in a long while. These are one of the best looking albino fish out there, in my opinion. They keep the beautiful red colors of the normal flameback hap, but instead of brown sides they're bright solid yellow. Truly a beautiful fish at any size. |

Hey folks,
Sorry in advance, this writeup will be a bit short today since Dave our sales manager is out of the office, and I'm starting on this a lot later than usual. We do still have plenty of pics though for you below with descriptions about everything you see, so there's no corners being cut when it comes to informing you about what's available and looking great here at Nautilus.
The main category of new fish this week are actually Florida bred local stuff, for a change! We have several new Central/South American cihclids we haven't had in a long long time that are back on the list this week like Super Red Bushynose, Honduran Red Points, Large Firemouths, and Medium EB Carpintis, along with a restock of very nice Blue Ring Discus and Tanganyikan Killifish. Even the Swordtails from Florida are looking awesome this week (and the assorted sword on the EDLP specials continues to be about the best deal you're going to find anywhere on some nice swordtails).
Also locally, we got some Albino Taiwan Reefs for the first time in ages, and these are SUPER nice. We're selling them as "regular" size, but they're almost big enough to be considered a Florida African cichlid "Medium". Somewhere between the two. Albino Flamebacks shown up at the top of the email are also new and extremely nice. it's been a few years since we've offered those, and after seeing them I'm wondering why we ever stopped bringing those in. They're gorgeous.
We did get some neat stuff from Asia though as well, including some of the biggest nicest Emperor Tetras I've seen in a while. Looks to be a good batch, been here a couple days at this point and they're holding up super well with zero losses. Also got back the super popular little Geophagus Sveni! These are not big, but that doesn't stop them from being extremely popular, and they sell out very fast every time we've had them in the past. Price is great on those. Dwarf Puffers and lots of shrimp colors are all restocked as well for the nano and planted tanks out there. |

| We are now officially announcing the latest addition to the GloFish® line, Starfire Red® Gouramis! This might be the hottest fish in the line yet. Yes, they really look like this. We took this photo in our sales office without the use of any lens filters or enhancement. These are just that awesome! These will launch on May 3rd, so just around the corner. |
| Starfire Red® Angels are still shipping in good numbers with some patterned individuals in the mix. |
| Medium Silver Arowana are back this week, same "medium" size as always, about 4 inches or so. Well past the egg yolk baby stage where they're touchy. |
| Flash Plecos from Peru have been here a couple weeks now, and are super sturdy. This is also called an "emperor" pleco which is a great name if you have a website to sell them on. |
| Colombian Zebras are still in stock, but not for much longer. Colombia collection basically slows to a crawl for the next few months every year around this time, so trust me, stock up now, because in a month and a half you're going to be asking where to get them. |
| Snowball plecos available as Mediums this week for barely any more than the normal price. Great option for picking up these popular little plecos from Colombia. |
| L75 Yellow Spot plecos available in 3 sizes now. All 3 are great looking fish. |
| Red Pacu are back in stock. They're small, but that means they'll be appropriate for an aquarium for about 3 months instead of 2. Seriously, these things grow so fast it's scary, and they get about 20 pounds and 2 feet long. |
| The huge Red Pikes are on special this week! It's a pretty steep discount, so great opportunity to pick these guys up if you're on the fence. They're big, like probably a foot long, so you'll need a good size tank to hold these guys. |
| Geophagus Sveni are added to the list of awesome Geophagus offerings from us this week. We still have some of the wild caught Brazilian Altifrons, and these Sveni are tank raised from Asia. Sveni show color at a remarkably young age, so it doesnt take long for these to start looking impressive. |
| Archers are on special this week! I can't remember last time we had a deal on these cool oddball brackish fish. |
| The cutest and best selling puffers in the world, Dwarf "Pea" puffers are still in stock! Don't forget to keep your tank full of these guys! If I were running a store today, I'd be keeping 25 in stock minimum at all times. |
| Chili Oscars got a fresh batch in and the color is very vibrant. |
| Adolfi Cory Cats are back! They're small, but they're pretty cheap. |
| Neon Redfin Rice Fish are back! These were very popular last time we got them. Ricefish are a great option for breeding in tubs outdoors, even up north, as they're reasonably cold tolerant. They make a great addition to a little goldfish tub on someones porch, and show better color from above than they do from their sides in a tank. |
| Galaxy Rasboras are running great size and showing full adult coloration. Ready to breed! |
| Delhizi Bichirs have been crazy popular all of a sudden. I remember a few months ago, one batch of these would last us months before we sold out, but now the same batch sells out within the week. Well, we got more, so if you've been trying to get them, try again this week. |
| Borneo Suckers somehow didn't sell out last week, so we have more for next week and got a small restock as well. These Hillstream Loaches have been super popular for many years, and stores that don't stock these are leaving money on the table for sure. |
| Marigold Swordtails are FL bred and great size this week. Even the assorted swords look really good, but to highlight a specific species it would be these for sure this week. |
| Everyones favorite new barb is back ,the Tricolor (Piebald) Gold Barb! These are great size, and have been holding up super well every time we've gotten them. These look super sharp in a planted tank with a dark background. |
| Featherfin Rainbows are male-heavy and full grown adults. They usually are this big, but showing them off in case anybody didn't realize that. They're a super impressive lookign community fish. |
| Tanganyikan Killifish from our local breeder are restocked, and these new ones are bigger than the first batch we got a couple weeks ago. It's pretty crazy what just 2 weeks of extra growth does sometimes....you'd think they were twice as old. |
| Emperor Tetras came in this week and are the biggest I've seen in ages. Every single one is really good size too, its not like half are big and half are normal, they're all super nice. Great time to stock up on these or fill a display tank. |
| Splash Tetras are still in stock from the Peru shipment several weeks back, and they're holding up great. if you want a very cool looking and different tetra to showcase, these are perfect for that. Just make sure you've got a lid on the tank. |
| We have the biggest penguin tetras i've seen in my entire life for sale this week. Seriously, I thought we've had big ones in the past, but these dwarf even those. They're absolute monsters. |
| Red Phantoms are small as usual, but always sell out regardless of size. |
Central & South American Cichlids
| New for this week are some beautiful little "Black Acaras" AKA Port Cichlids. These get a lot of really nice flourescent color in their sides that shimmer in the light as they move in the tank. Really underrated species, and still pretty uncommon in the hobby. |
| Curviceps got restocked. If you tried to order the Laetacara from Brazil we got a couple weeks ago and got scratched, this is your next best option! They're honestly very, very similar fish. |
| Large Firemouths are available for the first time in a couple years. Large is relative to the "regular" and "medium" sizes, as they're probably 5 times the size of a regular firemouth. This species also doesnt get nearly as big as most other Central American cichlids, but they show tons of bright red color in the belly area as you can see. |
| Medium EB Carpintis are new for this week as well, been a few months since we've had any this size. This is arguably one of the best looking central american cichlids when they mature, and they're already pretty impressive at this 3 inch or so size. |
| Rainbow cichlid regulars came in this week and already showing lots of their signature colors . |
| Run of the mill Green Severums are back in stock at regular size. We also have some nice medium sized FL bred Rainbow severums (not pictured) |
| Honduran Red Points are back in stock. The better looking version of convict cichlids, and a little bit less prolific. |
| Lots of rare OB colors in the "show peacock" mix, like this high yellow we took to Global Pet Expo. |
| Large venustus are the best value on the farm right now. I'm not sure why these are so much cheaper than other hap species, but they're the most impressivley colored, and the biggest for the lowest price. |
| Tomato haps are new this week, I think we'll need to get a price on the monday email. |
| Albino COmps are restocked and running great size for a cheap regular. |
| Assorted medium Hap have colored up peacocks in the mix as you can see here. Making this the best deal on the farm right now, probably. |
| Albino Taiwan Reefs are on the list as regular size, and the males are already showing color. The price is almost certainly too cheap (wrong), but we're honoring the list price before we fix it, so buy them now if you've ever considered getting these fish before. |
| These are photos of the actual adult breeders of the Blue Ring Discus on our list. These are bred at home by one of our employees here, so you won't find healthier discus anywhere in the country. These are high quality fish that are a pretty rare strain the hobby as well. |
| Regular Gold Nuggets are settled in and are truly showing off their namesake. |
| Now that they've had a chance to settle in the Leopard Cactus Plecos are showing bright orange coloration in their fins. |
| The Yellow Edge Plecos for last week's Brazil shipment are still one of the coolest fish here at the farm. Similar to to but different enough from Gold Nuggets to really make them stand out. |
| Got Green Phantom Plecos in just about every size you could want. Pictured here is one of the XLs. |
| Was wondering why the Reynoldsi Cory weren't selling, then we took a look at the price list. Oops, clearly there was a clerical error. Now not only are they the correct price but also quite the bargain given the size and uniqueness of them. |
