    Orange Albino Millennium Rainbows
    Hey Folks,

Got in a few new imports over the weekend, and a few Florida fish I haven't seen for a while.

Unfortunately my Sri Lanka shipment didn't come in. Apparently space constraints, so guppies are going to be in short supply this week. There are still some guppies leftover from last week, but you can't be picky about subs this week if you want any guppies filled. Fortunately there's not a lot else that comes out of Sri Lanka.

Albino millennium rainbows came in this week. They're good size and the males are starting to turn red/orange. Super impressive when they're full grown. Some other new fish in stock today include red tux swords, small venustus, big orange von rios, big blood parrots, yellow calico platies and deluxe mix shrimp.

A few other things that stood out in today's walk-through include diamond tetras, red-eyes, orange von rios, gold white clouds, EB acaras, pineapple swords, blue and albino paradise, white mickey mouse platies, 3" asst (jaguar type) Synos, balloon jewels, penguin tetras, silver dollars, figure-8 and spotted puffers, and all of the GloFish sharks.

FYI, I have fish on Thursdays. We were kicking around some ideas here last week as to why we get so few orders for Thursday pack. I know a lot of distributors try to be out of fish by the end of the week. We definitely do not work that way. I have fish coming in every day of the week. Historically Thursday was a little worse for fill-rate, but that isn't the case anymore. There may be some fish that I'll run out of, but there's other new fish that will come in that you'll have first option to buy. I completely understand if you don't want to put away fish on Friday afternoon. I also get concerns about delays with Friday shipping (although UPS has about a 99% on time percentage). But if you're not ordering late in the week because you think I'm out of product that is not the case.

Please give a call if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Joe Hiduke

Regular size turquoise rainbows are already showing great color.
Caramel albino flavescent peacocks are getting a bit of color. They're a (presumably) tyrosinase-positive albino, so a very different look than a standard albino, with deep ruby red eyes that look black unless you shine a light in them.
Clown loaches aren't real big but they've been hard to come by at any size lately.
All the GloFish sharks are huge.
    Albino Paradise
    Emperor Tetra
Melanura (Belize Synspilum) and bifasciata are both a lot cheaper than list price this week. The melanura are oversized and already showing good color. Although they're almost Geophagus-like in how they fade as soon as they see a net.

    Reptile & Amphibian Highlights
Red bearded dragons are in stock this week. Among the most popular of all pet reptiles for good reason. In a similar vein, crested geckos and leopard geckos are available too.

A few other highlights this week include viper boas, blood pythons, savannah monitors, lots of veiled chameleons, yellow uromastyx, a bunch of pacman frogs, and cobalt blue tarantulas.
