Blue/Black Arowanas are here for the first time in years!  These are (as you can see) very big, full of color, and much nicer fish than standard silver arowanas.  Its hard to see in the pic, but the outline of their fins is bright orange, and the fins themselves have a greenish blue coloration.  Truly beautiful monster fish.

    News & New Items
    Hey folks,

So who else is ready for spring? I mean don't get me wrong business has been great when we've been able to ship but that's the problem, shipping has been a gigantic pain. Hopefully as it starts to warm up here and there the upcoming weeks won't be as bad but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Luckily for us it hasn't had as great of an impact on incoming. Got in some fun items from the far east and yet another killer Colombia shipment.  And I still don't understand but somehow we are still seeing a number of oversized fish coming from right here in Florida. Somebody must be putting something in the water. You'll see what I mean in the pics below.

I'm starting with Colombia this week because we got in some items we haven't seen in ages as well as some that just keep flying out of here. I already let the cat out of the bag with the opening pic of the Blue/Black Arowana. These are next to impossible to get these days and they aren't cheap. But wanna know what they ARE? SUPER LIMITED. We ordered what was available but that wasn't much so if you want one of these show pieces speak now or forever hold your peace because we haven't had them in years. Sticking with the extremely limited theme we got in a literal handful of huge Red Pikes. This is another show piece that if I still worked retail would display but never sell just to make people jealous. And last but not least on the only got a couple pieces list are the XL Royal Plecos. I had to put one aside months ago just to make sure I would have it for Global next month.

Ok, now for some "should have more than two pieces available" items. Got Plecos o'plenty this time around. Two different sizes of Blue Phantom, XL Green Phantom, restock of Butterfly, some amazing looking Colombian Zebras and large Bushynose. Not new but still have some Giant Otos available. Put another pic of them down below for those of you that missed last week's email. Rainbow and Sailfin Tetras are also making a repeat appearance because they're still awesome. Got in Habrosus and Melanistus Cories. Silver Hatchets look to have pretty decent numbers on them. Flagtail Prochs are back after a brief absence. And looks like I might have a few pieces left on the Sabaji aka Yellow Spot aka Big Spot L-75 Plecos.

For far east goodies the one I'm most excited about isn't even a far east native, the all time West African classic Kribensis. For what ever reason these have just not been available at any size and not only did we get some this week but they are very nice. Size is slid and color is already looking great even though they just got here last night. And Speaking of far east raised Cichlids I managed to get a better pic of the Fire Red Apisto Agassizii that came in last week. These are truly stunning and deserve a better photographer. And we might even still have a few Fire Golds available this week so check with your sales rep on quantities. For Loaches we still have a fair amount of Redtail Botias on hand but my favorite have to be the Sumo Loaches. I used to sell these in my stores all the time but I can honestly say I don't remember ever having any with this much color. Pic down below isn't amazing but should give you a better idea of how awesome these look. And I definitely do not want to wrap up Asia imports without mentioning the Discus haul we got this week. It's the most we've gotten out of Singapore in a while but unfortunately that's gonna be it for a while as they a celebrating their New Year's after next week so supply is gonna be very limited for a bit so STOCK UP NOW!

I mentioned earlier that a lot of the Florida raised items are still running big somehow and I wasn't lying. Basically just about every Rainbow is outstanding. Both Rosy and all male Cherry Barbs are about as good as they get. Red Eye Tetras are nearly as big as your fist.  Got restocks on both 2" & 3" Chocolate Cichlids. New medium/large Red Rainbow Severums are very impressive. This week's medium mix male Peacock reload brought in some great hybrids and pure strains. Victorians are rocking it this week with Red Nyererei, Zebra Obliquidens and Hap Ruby Greens being some of the most colorful fish here on the farm.

Super limited but super awesome. If you want a shot at one of the XL Royal Plecos call your rep before you're done reading this email. That's how fast they go every time we get them in.
Large Blue Phantoms that came in last week have settled in nicely and look fantastic. I took a chance and since it's been so cold here I put them in the same row as the Discus which we keep around 85 degrees and they are absolutely loving it. That doesn't mean you have to keep them that warm long term but certainly helps with the acclimation process.
Looking for something a bit smaller? Then check out the small Blue Phantoms we got in last week. Perfect mini replicas of the adults.
In addition to the Blues we also got in Green Phantom Plecos at a large size this week. For whatever reason these have been in short supply lately and this week is no exception. Got in a very limited number of these so order early.
Butterfly  might be the best "value" Pleco we get in. Nice unique mottled pattern these guys have a very interesting look that is sure to get the attention of your customers.
This week's Colombian Zebra Plecos. 'Nuff said.
Wild Bushynose keep coming in with some relative consistency lately. People are always looking for bigger sizes on these since they are one of the best cleaner fish in the world.
Giant Otos definitely deserve the name. These aren't just oversized Otocinclus but a different species altogether. This isn't even the biggest one of the batch but very representative of the group. Biggest ones are about full grown. These don't come around very often and most likely won't be here for very long.
Rainbow Tetras are back! These came in so awesome last time we had to order them again. Very mixy in size but even the little ones look great.
Sailfin Tetras are big and impressive and are showing why they deserve their namesake.  These are closer in behavior to an Apistogramma than a tetra, honestly, so are a very cool oddball fish.
Got another restock on Habrosus Cories last night. Let's see if they last more than a day this time. You can tell it's winter since when we had them over the summer the would be here for a week or two. Now, not so much.
Melanistus Cories should fill this time around as we got them in from two different sources this week. Now that I've said that we'll be out before Sunday lol.
I am told that we should have plenty of Silver Hatchets to go around this week. Last time I conveyed that message we ran out after two orders so don't sleep on these.
New batch of Flagtail Prochs are nice and solid both in terms of size and color.
World's coolest schooling scale eater got a restock last night. I'll give everyone till Monday to order some. After that I'm saving a bunch for Global lol.
Got in huge Red Pikes on this order. SUPER limited. Order now if you want one.
Wild Black Ghost knives are about twice the size of the far east imports. I've seen bigger but not often.
    Asia Imports
Bobble Head, I mean Balloon Red Eye Tetras got another restock this week. I've said it before and I'll say it again, everybody likes balloons.
Balloon Rams may be a bit of a staple around here but just look at them. Great color in an oddly shaped body. What more could you ask for.
Leopard Ctenopoma are back and at slightly larger size than the last few batches. Closest thing one can get to a Panther Grouper in freshwater lol.
New batch of Archers looking great so far. Right around 2" these are already acclimating quickly. These are one of the brackish species so they will benefit from some salt in the water or at the very least hard, alkaline conditions.
I featured the Fir red Apisto Agassizii last week but they had just arrived so they were a little faded. Amazing what a week can do. Color is even better in the water with their bright red fins on display.
Good ole fashioned Kribensis are back since I don't even know how long. And the best part is they're really nice sized and showing good color already.
Yup, here we are again. But as  I've mentioned before every time we get Dwarf Puffers I'm gonna feature them in the newsletter. Rather people get bombarded with them as opposed to not realizing we have them in stock.
This is not a stock photo or some random download but an actual pic of the Sumo Loaches we got in last night. Threw a couple in one of our staging tanks and even though I'm not the world's greatest photographer you can see just how colorful thee guys are.
Strawberry fest is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with a fresh batch of Strawberry Peacocks. And yes, Strawberry fest is a real thing down here and it goes for like two weeks.
Got a handful of Rocket Gar on hand and I swear they grow right before your very eyes. Have nearly doubled in size in the short time they've been here.
    Tetras
Basic of a fish as you can get but a must have every time they're available. Plus the Black Neons are running particularly nice this week.
Bleeding Hearts came in late week but now that they've had a chance to settle in they're really starting to show off their color.
Bloodfins are back this week. Availability has been very touch and go on these this winter so grab some now while they're here.
Red Eyes are absolutely ginormous at the moment. Like midsummer ginormous. Buy extra and charge extra, they're worth it.
Regular Von Rios are a bit smaller than the Orange variant this week but definitely sporting the better color.
    Community
All male Cherry Barbs are back. Yes, they cost a bit more but you can charge more and your customers won't get stuck with females they probably don't really want.
Speaking of big and bright the Kohaku Koi Swords are probably the nicest I've seen come through here. Size is nearly full grown and color is outstanding. And there's even a few males in the group this time around lol.
Not quite as fancy but still very nice are the Marigold Swords. Probably the best looking of the baseline Swordtails.
I try not to feature a specific color of Guppy most weeks as they usually tend to sell out almost immediately but I couldn't resist taking a pic of the God Red Tux as they are absolutely spectacular
If you're not stocking every type of Endler's that comes available then you rea missing out. I would argue that these have become more popular amongst hobbyists now than standard Guppies. We blow thorugh these every week for a reason.
I may get labeled as being repetitious but it bares repeating then I'm gonna repeat it. Medium Bosemani Rainbows continue to be one of the best looking fish on the farm.
Got Super Red Bushynose in for the first time in forever. This strain is more like the Lemon Blue Eye types and looks more tangerine than the typical rust color. Personally I think these look a lot nicer and will grow up to be a better looking fish.
Medium Albino Bushynose are between 2.5-3". Big enough where the males are already starting to show bristles.  This is a size of albino bushynose we haven't been able to offer in a few years so they'll probably sell out quick.
    Cichlids
We sold out of the 4" Chocolates in about five minutes flat last week but the good news is we are restocked on 2" & 3" this week.
Electric Green Carpintis are in at a medium size this week and are starting to show why that is an accurate name.
New Red Rainbow Severums came in at a medium size this week. If you've ever tried to take a pic of any type of Severum before then you know it is almost impossible as they go dark the second they see a camera. Believe me when I say they look even better than this in person.
The new strain of Yellow Tiger Severum got a restock at a regular size this week. Certainly smaller than the selects we had a couple of weeks ago but still very nice with very distinct barring.
Featured the medium Balzani last week they're still so nice I felt the need to put them in a again. There's even a couple of males starting to show their soon be glorious humps.

    Old World Cichlids
Medium Assorted Male Peacocks have great variety in there including some Hap hybrids including this Ahli mix.
Same as above goes for this what I am assuming is a Red Empress cross of sorts.
And we can never have a Peacock mix without some great looking OBs in the assortment.
If you're looking for yellow this week we got you covered with not one but two options this week, Albino German Red (pictured) and Albino Swallowtail Peacocks. Both are super vibrant and a fantastic value given the size this week.
Just like last week got three sizes of assorted Fancy Mbuna. This beautiful albino Zebra came out of the large mix.
Got in medium Hap Ruby Greens this week. Group looks to be 90% if not all male but if you're familiar with Lake Victorian Haps then you know that they are infamous for only coloring up one at a time so when you get them just know that they will color up will just be as the more dominant males are removed.
Yes, they're back in here again. probably the ninth time in ten weeks and I don't care. Medium Red Nyererei are one of the best looking freshwater fish is existence. Period.
Got 2 pieces on large Tropheus Duboisi. If that's too big we still have some very nice selects from the same bloodlines.
