Hey Folks,
Another busy Monday here, no sign of slowing down for an early spring. That stupid groundhog is wrong most of the time anyway.
Got a nice guppy restock this weekend. The black Endler's up top are my second favorite fish on the order. I have Moscow green guppies too, and they're a better choice if you need fish with big tails. Pic didn't turn out very good and I'm out of time so the black Endler's got top billing.
Tricolor dumbos, green dragon dumbos, Moscow blues, and red Endler's all look good too.
Got in some new swordtails over the weekend too. I have new green swords and pineapple swords, plus some nice assorted swords. All the swords are in short supply, but I've got a few more types coming later this week so if I run out of these I may have other varieties. Maybe.
Some other new imports include all the oscars, figure-8 puffers, strawberry peacocks, gold wonder killis, leopard Ctenopomas and bamboo shrimp. Got a ton of deluxe mix shrimp coming tomorrow, if you need shrimp that's the one to get.
Only new Florida fish I saw today were more red red glass barbs. They still look amazing, almost all male and very good size.
A few other things that stood out in today's walkthrough include archerfish, redtail cats (way oversized), outstanding large bleeding hearts, gold/green cories, big rainbow severums, Burmese sun cats, Microsynodontis cats, highfin sunset mickey mouse platies, and trimacs.
If you haven't gotten red pristellas in your store than you need them on your order. These are one of the brightest fish in the entire line of GloFish. If you don't stock pristellas than you need all the colors. They make an outstanding display even before adding the red to the mix.
Please give a call if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Still have elephant trunk snakes, and since they're the best suited snake for an aquarium store I'm featuring them again. These are babies of the giant elephant trunks. One of the coolest snakes in the world, they are fully aquatic and unlike anything else. These are kind of touchy, but they come in in much better condition now that they're imported as babies. They acclimate well and almost always feed right away. Warm temperatures and soft acidic water seem to reduce the likelihood and severity of skin blisters.
Another new Indo import, I have mangrove monitors available. These are beautiful display animals that rarely bite. I say display animal because they often stay flighty, but some individuals will calm down. Not a small monitor but small enough that housing isn't too difficult. Max size is 3-4', with half of that tail.
Ornamental baboon spiders are back in stock this week. I wouldn't exactly call them outgoing but they don't bury themselves like terrestrial tarantulas. They're out in the open sometimes, and especially when feeding. In addition to be less shy in their cage they're also not shy about putting holes in your hand, and they're pretty fast. Fun for the whole family.
