NEW FL-bred Longfin Neons are here!  it's been years since I've seen these, we actually imported the broodstock for the breeder several years back from the Czech.  Looks like he's done a fantastic job keeping the finnage on these fish down the generations, and we're happy to be able to offer these back for sale to everybody!
    Hey Folks,

Not much update for you here on Monday fish-wise, but just a quick reminder that the deadline to order fish before the long Holiday weekend is going to be closing time tomorrow here at Nautilus.  If you send orders in by 5PM Eastern Time Tuesday, we can get that packed Wednesday for Thursday arrival either with UPS or Airport however you normally ship.   We are 95% certain we are going to be way too busy to accept add-on orders Wednesday to pack for Thursday arrival, so please don't be late getting the order in.

We've got a huge reptile update for you today, you can find that down at the end of this email.

On the fish side of things, I think the main update are going to be Longfin Neon Tetras!  These are Florida bred, so should hold up great.  I forgot about them on Friday because the fish weren't here yet (although they are on the stock list).  We got a few as a sample from the breeder, which I have a picture of below.  Quality looks fantastic.  The breeder got the brood stock from us a few years ago when we did our last Czech Republic import order, and these should be 3 or 4 generations down from the initial Czech stock by now.   Not much else new over the weekend, as it being a short week we didn't go too crazy with imports.  Next week might be a different story.  You'll definitely want to check out the list next week in case something super cool comes in we haven't had in forever **knock on wood**.

Reach out to your rep if you have any questions.

New Knight Gobies are holding up so far on Monday, hoping these cool oddball fish keep doing well for the rest of the week!  They're brackish fish, so they do need salt and will not do well in pure freshwater.
Peacock Gudgeons are on the list as regulars but most of them are running medium+.
Jurapari from the last Colombia shipment have really settled in are looking fantastic.
Still have a handful of wild Green Severums on hand. This is one of the most difficult Cichlids to get a decent pic of since they darken in color the second they get in the net. These are bright green with orange anal fins.
Lemon Oscars got restocked over the weekend and both size and color are much better than the last couple batches.
Medium assorted Haps are running big enough that some of the males are already displaying near adult coloration like this Borleyi.
Another example of how big the medium Haps are showing color is this Dimidiochromis Stigatus.
Lemon Tetras keep getting bigger each week and are nice and bright..
Red Phantom Tetras from the last Colombia shipment are about as big and colorful as they get.
New Tinfoil Barbs are about twice the size as the last batch and already have color coming into the fins.
    Reptile & Amphibian Highlights
Absolutely Massive reptile restock for the Holiday week!  There's so much cool new stuff, i'm just going to list it all here:
    Tiger Salamanders
    Cuban Treefrogs
    Camel Spiders
    Thai Black Tiger Tarantulas
    Crested Sailfin Anoles
    Red Eye Croc Skinks
    Schneider Skinks
    Green Amevias
    Tokay Geckos
    Yellow Stripe Basilisks
    Cuban Knight Anoles
    CBB Blue Tongue Skinks

So as you can see, it's a LOT and its almost entire "cool" stuff that reptile specialty stores love to carry.  Most of these are fairly inexpensive too....the Ameivas, Knight Anoles, Crested Anoles, and Basilisks are all invasive to South Florida and locally collected, keeping the price way down on these super cool animals.  I'd recommend stocking up now, because as you can see from how our reptile list normally looks....these things are very rarely available nowadays.

Cuban Knight Anole.  These are regularly 8-10 inches long.  Amazing animals.
