Hey Folks,
We got a LOT of cool stuff in over the weekend to fill the stocklist in with some new neat stuff we haven't had in a while as well as plug some holes in the list. There's so much to go over, I'm going to first list them out in list-form here for you to make sure everyone sees all the new stuff easily:
Archer Fish Celebese Rainbow 2-3 Inch Koi Lemon Oscar Pink Kisser Gourami Australian Rainbowfish Gibbiceps Plecos Pirate Perch Pearl Danio Medium Tiger barbs
I'm glad to see some of the Florida staples coming back in. The tiger barbs, cherry barbs, pearl danios, aussie rainbows, celebese, pink kissers, and gibbiceps all fall into that category. I wish that everything would just stay in stock all the time, but if any of ya'll have ever bred fish at home before you'll sympathize with the struggle. Sometimes they don't breed for a few weeks, and you end up with a gap in fry production to grow out, etc.
The Lemon Oscars and Archers are both welcome additions to the stock list that arrived over this weekend. The lemon Oscars have been out of stock with our suppliers for all of 2025 so far until just now so we made sure to grab them as quick as we could. They're a little smaller than they used to be, but not by much. I'd guess they're right around 1.5 inches.
We also restocked on a lot of stuff that had run out by the end of the week last week, so if you got scratches on something Thursday and now you see it back on the list, you'll understand why. They're a new batch, we didn't just accidentally overlook your order last week.
Also of note, the Black Neons are gigantic, order some ASAP. We also didn't get a picture of them, but the Colombian Tetras are another one that about half of the fish for sale are absolutely huge, like retired breeder size or something. I can't guarantee you'll get big ones on those, but you have a solid 50/50 chance. The Black Neons are all big like this currently.
Give your sales rep a call if you have any questions this week! Thanks!

NEW FISH ALERT! I was out collecting more Pygmy Sunfish for us since we ran out again towards the end of last week, and stumbled across a few of these very awesome fish called "Pirate Perch". These are a super unique fish, native to the southeastern U.S., and they're fairly rare throughout their range. They get about 4 inches, and while they're brown, they get cool looking fins and have some very interesting behavior and physiology. We have THREE available, and they'll be on the "new fish" list button above. First come first served. |

Don't sleep on the Large Golden Topminnows (Fundulus Chrysotus Killifish). Your customers have never heard of them before, and they're not expensive and full of color. They're also US Native and can be easily bred in captivity with the use of a spawning mop. They tick every box for something that should be a very popular and easy to sell fish. Honestly one of the best looking community fish here right now. |

Lemon Oscars also showed up over the weekend. It's been quite a while since these have been in stock, so it's a welcome addition. These lemon Oscars are basically a higher-yellow variant of albino so they keep a beautiful gold color. |

Firemouths come in with a ton of color even at the regular size (about 1.5 inch). |
|
 |
Pink kissers are back in stock. That's a dime for size comparison, not a quarter. |
|
 |
Sunset Gourami are one of the best looking dwarf gouramis. These should be just as popular as the powder blues and fire reds. |

Florida Bred Cherry Barbs! Finally have some super nice big cherry barbs to sell you. The last 6 months or so, only tiny imported ones have been available, so get them while they're hot! I don't know how many days of sales the FL Breeder has available for us before they run out. |

Gold White clouds came in over the weekend but are VERY small. I'd recommend just skipping them this week. |
|
 |
On the other hand, the Black Neons are absolutely HUGE! Best tetra on the list this week by a huge margin. |

Reptile & Amphibian Highlights

This might be the best Reptile update I've seen all year! Basic bread and butter stuff that you actually want is all in stock! To me personally, I get excited when I see stuff like unique snakes on there and Calotes lizards and stuff like that.....but the reality is I know ya'll just want to know if we have any Leopard Geckos, Bearded Dragons, and Savannah Monitors. This week, the answer to all 3 is YES!
There are even some nice Frog selection to pick from this week. Captive Bred Dumpy Treefrogs are finally on the list! The most popular treefrog by far for a good reason, and when they're CB they're almost bulletproof. Just make sure to have plenty of crickets on hand, cause I'm pretty sure one frog could easily eat 100 per week.even at a Juvi size. Keep them fat and happy and they'll sell better, nobody wants to buy skinny animals.
I also wanted to quickly point out, ribbon snakes are on the list! They're less than $10 each, so they are always super popular. These are communal snakes and have no problem hanging out together and eating feeder guppies, so they make a great snake for anyone that is mostly a fish store and wants to branch into reptiles slowly.

Fire Leg Tarantula. Adult pictured, what are available are spiderlings a little under an inch, but that's basically your only way to get these more desirable types of tarantula anymore. It's very very rare to find adults on offer, and if you do they're $$$$ |
