Big Hump Flowerhorns are by the coolest ones we've gotten in nearly two years. These definitely deserve their name!
Looking for something colorful but not quite as humpy? Then look no further than the Red Pearl Flowerhorns. These are super gorgeous right out of the bag so I can't wait to see what they'll look like once they've settled in.
    Hey Folks,

what a fantastic Monday for incoming. Unfortunately a lot of it is just arriving now so pics are going to be limited but I'll do my best to give everyone a quick rundown. As the opening pics already let the cat out of the bag the best newcomers this week are the Big Hump (yes, that's what it said on the invoice, we might come up with something less crude) and Red Pearl Flowerhorns. Both are over 4" and both are super impressive. These are automatic show fish for anyone who buys them. Don't be surprised if one of these guys finds its way to Global later this month. For other far east raised Cichlids we also got in Balloon Jewels, Blood Parrots and lots of juiced Peacocks including some outstanding Strawberries.

The far east brought us plenty of other gems these week including some long awaited Clouded Archers. Often confused for their brackish cousins this is a true freshwater species so no salt required. But if you ARE looking for some brackish beauties we did happen to get in both Spotted and Figure 8 Puffers. Both nice and round and super adorable. On the opposite end of the size spectrum we got in a handful of South American Redtail Cats, And if you missed Friday's email we still have some Tiger Shovelnose Cats which will pair nicely together lol. But going back to the small side of things we also got in Rainbow Dace, Blue Speckle Rice Fish and lots (although never enough) of great looking Bettas. Unfortunately it's getting late and I want everyone to have enough time to read this so they can get to work on their orders so I'm going to end things here. But in case you didn't get a chance to read Friday's email here's what you missed:

Gonna dive right into Colombia as that is more often than not the source for some of the coolest fish we get in. Top pick, no real surprise here, are the Red Pikes. Never know quite what you're going to get from one batch to the next but this week's group is a homerun. Magnificent monsters is about the best way I can describe them. I say this a lot but I'm seriously considering stealing one of these for Global so act quick before I get a chance to stash one away. In addition to those bad boys we got Plecos o'plenty this week. It's a toss up between the XL Green Phantoms and XL Blue Phantoms as to who's more impressive. Size is very similar and color is outstanding. My recommendation, get both. You will not be disappointed. But if you're looking for something a bit more economical we got in small Royal Plecos as well. Small is accurate but even at this size still a good value and look really solid. Cories got their fair share of restocks from Colombia this week as well including Skunks, Punctatus and the ever popular Habrosus.

Far east imports brought in some much needed refills across the board. The best part of this time year is also the worst part, the demand is so great we can barely keep up. But with that in mind we are doing our best by restocking as fast as the vendor availability allows. Albeit relatively common one of my favorite restocks this we are the Striped Kuhli Loaches. Probably the coolest fish your customers will never see once it's in their tanks. And speaking of Loaches we got Zodiacs back for the first time in so long I can't even remember. Size is solid as usual with a very unique pattern going down the dorsal side of the body. And if skinny and lanky is your thing we got in Blue Neon Gobies. Bigger than I think I've ever seen them come in and already showing great color in the face. But if you're looking for something polar opposite in terms of size we got in Tiger Shovelnose Cats. Currently around 3" these guys will be big enough to eat everything in sight very soon.

But I have to say if I had to give out an award for best overall selection it's going to Florida raised Cichlids. Got in a ton of both African and Central/Southies including some bigger sizes on some old school favorites. I already gave away my hand a bit with the opening pic of the XL Green Terror. Probably my favorite of the old guard. Also got in mediums and large on those. We also got in just about every size of Electric Blue Acara imaginable ranging from regular all the way up to Jumbo. Got in both medium and 5" Brasiliensis. Too many Severums to even list. A handful of 7" Red Devils. And regular size Blue Aureus for only the second time in two years. For African Cichlids we got fresh blood on just about all of the assorted peacocks including medium, large and XL. All are excellent with eye popping color. Plenty of marvelous Mbuna including large Msobos which were mentioned last week but somehow never made it on the list. And last but definitely not least we got in Phenochilus Star Sapphire. If you're not familiar with that fish them you need to Google a pic of an adult. They tak

Showcased pics of the medium and the XL Green Terrors last week but we also have some very nice "large" green Terrors that are running on average 3.5-4"
Freshly picked Strawberry Peacocks are nice and juiced and sure to sell out quickly.
EB Jacks are back baby! However these are extremely limited so get with your rep now if you want any.
Got restocked on Blood Parrots over the weekend. This is very representative of the size and color.
Spotted Puffers are back. And while they're running small like the last few batches that works to their advantage. Makes them all the cuter in the customers' eyes.
Figure 8 Puffers also got a restock this week. Very similar in size to the Spotted but these tend to be slightly less nippy.
Unlike their more commonly available cousins the Clouded Archers are a true freshwater species making them much more approachable for your average fish keeper.
Don't let the rotund body shape fool you, even though they're shaped like an Oranda Balloon Jewels can still get around fast enough to nip at their tankmates so be careful what you put them with.
Everybody's favorite river monster got a restock this week. Said this a million times but just in case you haven't heard it already please be sure to inform your customers as to how big these guys get and how quickly that will happen. Great for large indoor ponds though.
I've mentioned Penguin Tetras a couple of times recently but that's because they keep coming in at a monster size. These are about as big as I've ever seen. Super impressive schooling species.
Got Zig Zag Eels in regular and 4-6'' sizes this week. Definitely opt
Koi Bettas are highly variable. This is a prime example of what to expect.
Show Koi are slightly bigger then the regular Koi Betta but definitely have some different color combos to them.
